The Bank Street College Archives Collection tells the story of Bank Street in a unique way. Through words, photographs, letters, audio, and video files, one can trace the beginnings of Bank Street, from the Bureau of Educational Experiments in 1916, up to the present. Included are some of the personal papers of Lucy Sprague Mitchell and other notable people affiliated with Bank Street. In addition, the work of Bank Street's Research Division is included. The archives encompass approximately 500 linear feet and are kept at Bank Street College.
The Collection currently is being arranged and described by Project Archivists Lindsey Wyckoff and Kate Kearns. To date, approximately 40 percent of the work has been completed. If you have questions about the Archives Collection, or would like to inquire about making a donation, contact Lindsey at lwyckoff@bankstreet.edu.
